Notes
Satina indicated that this concert was ‘an evening of Literature and Music in Memory of Ilya Sats’. She noted that the artists taking part included ‘Yan-Ruban, Bogoslovsky, Mogilevsky, N. Orloff, Speranasky, Germanova, Kosminsky, O. Knipper, Boleslavsky, Vishnevsky, Kachalov, Louzhsky, Moskvin, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Stanislavsky, Kholov’. Martyn (p. 557) includes in the program Goat-Footed Dance, also by Sats, while a review in Russkiye Vedomosti (November 25) highlights the mixed nature of the concert and the variety of works performed (numerous, seemingly, without orchestra and Rachmaninoff's participation). These included the song 'Human Tears', 'Northern Song', and a work for choir, singer-reciter, clarinet and piano 'At the Prikaznykh Gate'.
